Matt Headley is a passionate and creative disciple-maker with an eclectic ministry background. He has led churches and civic groups to sing new songs to the Lord through choirs, instrumental groups, contemporary rock bands, opera, and musical theater troupes. An alumnus of JSU (B.A. Music) and Northern Seminary (M.Div.) and an ordained minister in the American Baptist Church of USA, Matt has vocationally served churches in both pastoral and worship arts ministries since 2006. He is honored to lead with an eminently talented, Spirit-filled team in re-sounding the Gospel through traditioned, innovative music and worship arts ministries with all of God’s people in Anniston.
Matt is the privileged husband to Heather, a homeschooling mom, piano pedagogue, and plant-based culinary genius, and father to four little bursts of sunshine: Hannah, Noah, Sage & Soren. Long-time residents of Calhoun County, the Headleys recently moved to a farmstead where they dream of tending chickens, honey bees, and an abundant vegetable garden. A monkey-minded mystic with an unduly habit of reforming and improving, Matt prefers pants-loads of veggies on his pizza, if you please.
